He’s not a great follower of politics, and he certainly doesn’t express any views on the situation in his native Russia when he’s shooting for us in Czechia, but it’s pretty obvious that Gregor enjoys the relative freedom that Prague provides for a young gay guy. Compare that to the restrictions back home and you can easily understand why he headed westwards to study at university, and why he adopted Czech citizenship in anticipation of graduation.
